Ashlie Atkinson was born and raised in Little Rock and graduated from Hendrix College and New York's Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre. A 2004 Theatre World Award winner for her New York theatre debut in Neil LaBute's FAT PIG, she has since amassed a pile of over 100 credits spread between film (BLACKKKLANSMAN, WOLF OF WALL STREET, BRIDGE OF SPIES, INSIDE MAN, COMPLIANCE, JUANITA), television, (MR. ROBOT, AND JUST LIKE THAT, AMERICAN CRIME STORY: IMPEACHMENT, ZOEY'S EXTRAORDINARY PLAYLIST, MARVELOUS MRS. MAISEL, RESCUE ME, CRASHING, BLUE BLOODS, BULL), audio (Gideon Media's STEAL THE STARS and WITNESS) and theatre (Roundabout's "The Ritz" on Broadway, Yale Rep's "Imogen Says Nothing", BAM / Old Vic London "The Tempest / As You Like It" directed by Sam Mendes, SecondStage "Butcher of Baraboo" directed by Judith Ivey).

She is also a writer and director, and a member of the industry activist collective Room Tone. She plays X-Man Kitty Pryde in Marvel's brand-new audiodrama "Wastelanders : Wolverine" and is currently shooting her second season as 1880s New York high society "fun-maker" Mamie Fish on HBOs THE GILDED AGE.
