Dr. Ben Hoffman is a highly seasoned physician executive with an extensive background in global occupational and environmental health, clinical medicine and group health and disability benefit design. He has been employed by government agencies, non-profits and multinational corporations including GE, Waste Management, NXP, Carrier Corporation, Hewitt and DuPont. Dr. Hoffman trained at Yale, Brown and Mt. Sinai School of Medicine and is board certified in internal medicine, preventive medicine and environmental/occupational health. He has published widely and holds a Professorship (Adjunct) at the University of Texas School of Public Health. He held past professorships at Dartmouth, Boston University and Tufts Friedman School of Nutrition. He has been appointed to Boards and Committees including International Consortium on Obesity, the Global Health Committee at the National Academy of Sciences and Institute of Medicine, IPIECA/Oil and Gas producers and former Chair, US DOT/FMCSA Medical Review Board.
