Ben is the Director of Financial Wellbeing and Retirement Programs at Unum. His team is responsible for day-to-day operations, regulatory oversight and compliance of the Unum global Financial Wellbeing and Retirement programs. This includes their Defined Benefit, Defined Contribution and Non-Qualified retirement plans, Financial Wellbeing concierge services, Student Debt Relief program and other resource offerings. Unum employs approximately 11,000 employees worldwide and Ben works out of the Portland, ME office. Ben has been with Unum for just over 10 years and has held a variety of roles in HR and benefit positions. Prior to overseeing Financial Wellbeing and Retirement programs, he managed the Health and Welfare programs for Unum employees. His experience includes evaluating and implementing new benefit programs, managing corporate benefit including Medical/Rx strategy, and Leave of Absence and Disability Management.
