Benjamin Swig, MPH, MBA, NRP, serves as the Director of Healthcare Innovation and Strategy at Acadian Companies.  Benjamin manages the employee health plan with 6500 members, Acadian Innovation Partners, Acadian’s Innovation Accelerator, and the Director of Acadian Health, Acadian Companies’ in-home care division.  He is a graduate of Tulane University School of Public Health, Tulane University Freeman School of Business and is a nationally registered Paramedic.  Before joining Acadian Benjamin co-founded Ready Responders, a mobile urgent care start-up, worked as a paramedic and administrator with New Orleans EMS, and was the Acting Director of Training in the US Surgeon General’s Office supporting the US Public Health Service, directing medical readiness training in underserved communities throughout the US and public health and medical emergency response coordination.
