Maj. Gen. Beth A. Salisbury currently serves as the Commanding General of the 807th Medical Command (Deployment Support) and recently served as the Deputy Commanding General for Operations at the 99th Readiness Division, Joint Base McGuire Dix Lakehurst, New Jersey.

Salisbury enlisted in the Army Reserve in 1987. She is a Distinguished Military Graduate of Millersville University ROTC, Millersville, Pennsylvania. After serving on active duty for several years, she transferred to the Army Reserve. Her previous military assignments include the following positions: 3D Medical Command Deployment Support, DCG-Operations, Ft. Salisbury earned a Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College, Carlisle Barracks, Pennsylvania; a Master of Arts in National Security Strategy from the American Military University, Charles Town, West Virginia; and a Bachelor of Science in Occupational Therapy from Elizabethtown College, Elizabethtown, Pennsylvania. She completed Advanced Joint Professional Military Education at the National Defense University, Washington, D.C.

Her awards and decorations include the Legion of Merit, Bronze Star Medal, Meritorious Service Medal (4 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters), Joint Service Commendation Medal (1 Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Commendation Medal (Silver Oak Leaf Cluster), Army Achievement Medal (1 Bronze Oak Leaf Cluster), Humanitarian Service Medal, Army Reserve Component Achievement Medal (Silver Oak Leaf Cluster and 3 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters), Armed Forces Commendation Medal (4 Bronze Oak Leaf Clusters), National Defense Service Medal (with Bronze Service Star), Global War on Terrorism Expeditionary Medal, Armed Forces Reserve Medal (Gold Hourglass with “M” device, 3rd Award), Iraqi Campaign Medal (3 Campaign Stars), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, Army Service Ribbon, Overseas Service Ribbon (4th Award), Army Reserve Component Overseas Ribbon, Public Health Service Outstanding Unit Citation, Meritorious Unit Commendation, and the Army Superior Unit Award (2nd Award). In her civilian capacity, Salisbury recently sold Complete Therapy Care Inc., which provides on-site industrial rehabilitation services, and continues to support the business as a consultant. She is married to her husband of 29 years, Dr. Rick Salisbury, and has two married sons and two grandchildren with another on the way.
