Brooke Dunefsky is an incoming junior at Yale studying economics and cognitive science. She is a patented inventor who developed an affordable device to help with the rehabilitation of stroke victims. Currently, she is conducting neuroscience research as a Hahn Scholar, Yale’s most prestigious STEM scholarship. She also is the founder and host of a nonprofit podcast called Charity Talks, which she created to highlight impactful nonprofits through interviews of their founders and leaders. The podcast has over 50 episodes and listeners in 130 countries and all 50 states. Brooke was also a Regeneron STS Finalist and a U.S. Presidential Scholar. Outside of research, she loves creative writing and is on the board of a literary magazine at Yale. She is also a fellow and recruiting manager for Yale’s Entrepreneurial Society.
