Brooks Reed has worked with the CAF Group in a variety of roles since October 2015, when he was a co-author on the report titled Beyond Integrity: Exploring the role of business in preserving the civil society space (Charities Aid Foundation, 2016). Brooks has worked with the CAF Group in a variety of roles since October 2015, officially joining CAF America in 2017 to lead the Department of Business Development. Brooks has served as the Vice President of Thought Leadership and Philanthropy since 2023.

His background is in international development, with research interests focusing on the private sector in development and corporate citizenship. His professional experience outside of CAF America includes time with international NGOs and within the Executive Office of the Governor of Florida.

He holds a MSc in Development Management from the London School of Economics, as well as a BA in International Affairs and a BA in Political Science from Florida State University. He is a Chartered Advisor in Philanthropy® (CAP®) and certified in Anti-Money Laundering by the Society of Tax and Estate Professionals (STEP).
