Christina Norwood is the Manager of Performance and Innovation for Ascension’s employee health plan, SmartHealth. At Ascension Christina has facilitated the launch of new platforms that support mental health, social determinants of health, diabetes, and musculo-skeletal conditions, as well as the launch of Ascension’s Medicare Advantage plan. Previously, Christina worked in operations for Emory University Hospital’s surgery, interventional radiology, and cardiac catheter lab departments. Christina received her master’s degree in health administration from Columbia University where she graduated with the Regina Lowenstein Prize for Academic Excellence in Health Policy and Management.
