Cory Hooks is a Senior Director within Corporate Strategic Procurement at Intel Corporation. He leads the Global Supply Chain organization within the Indirect Supply Chain responsible for Sales and Marketing Strategic Sourcing.
Cory joined Intel in 1999 as a Commodity Manager within Fab Capital Equipment Development (FCED). Since then Cory has held a variety of technical, business and project management leadership roles covering all aspects of the supply chain. Before assuming his current position, he served as the Global Supply Chain, Area Manager for Assembly Test Placement Technology.
He has held several senior leadership positions outside of Intel including, Emerging Business Markets, General Manager for Cintas Corporation and Vice President of Vertical Communications where he owned Sales, Operations and Technology Development.
Cory Co-Chairs the Intel Black Leadership Council which includes the senior African Americans across the company. Cory also one of the original founders of African Americans Advancing Intel’s Supply Chain (A3IS) to drive the recruitment, retention and progression of Black employees across the Global Supply Chain. He serves as a board member for Brayden’s Buddies and Treasures 4 Teachers.
Mr. Hooks earned a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations from the University of Northern Colorado and an MBA Degree in Supply Chain and Operations from Regis University.
