After ten years at Goldman Sachs Crissi Cole left to tackle the wealth gap. While at GS, she invested ultra-high-net-worth portfolios and built trading & technology platforms. Now, Crissi is on a mission to get more women out of debt and into investing, with an accessible, affordable financial app designed intentionally for the 70% of women who don't yet have wealth. Crissi founded Penny Finance, the first tech-forward financial planning platform for people who have been historically ignored by the financial system, for not having enough wealth. Penny Finance was founded in 2020, and since then has raised VC funding and graduated as one of ten companies in the 2023 Techstars Future of Longevity startup Accelerator in partnership with Pivotal Ventures, an investment and incubation company founded by Melinda French Gates.
