Dan Roalkvam is Senior Director, Insurance for McDonald’s Corporation. In this role, Dan is responsible for the McDonald’s Licensees Health and Welfare Plan and other Operator benefit programs.  Additionally, he oversees multinational pooling, US franchisee P&C risk management, and Operator strategy and compliance efforts with respect to the ACA and other health care legislation.

Dan has over 25 years of health care experience, spending the past 17 years in his current role within the Corporate Insurance department of McDonald’s.  Prior to joining McDonald’s, he worked as a health care consultant at Aon Hewitt, Willis Towers Watson, and KPMG, all in Chicago.

Dan graduated from Northern Illinois University with a Bachelor of Arts Degree in English.

Dan resides in the northwest suburbs of Chicago with his son Matthew.
