The Conference Board
Daria Lamb was director of The Conference Board Research Working Groups beginning in February 2011. In this role, she worked closely with economists, human capital researchers, and governance professionals from The Conference Board offices in the United States, Europe, Asia, and India. She launched groups on such diverse topics as global corporate philanthropy, learning and new technologies, employees with disabilities, and business forecasting models.
Lamb’s previous experience includes working in New York and London for the Pizzeria Uno corporation during their expansion from 40 to 200 locations worldwide. She has also owned several businesses, including a fine dining restaurant and an independent bookstore, and she produced and hosted several TV specials for C-SPAN’s Book TV.
Lamb studied theoretical economics at the University of Chicago and was the recipient of an English Speaking Union fellowship to study at Adcote College in Shrewsbury, England.
