David Stafford

Dave Stafford is the retired Chief Human Resources Officer for Michelin North America and the former Chief Technology Officer for Michelin North America. He joined Michelin in 1984, working as a materials scientist at Michelin’s NA Research Center. In the 1990’s he and his family spent six years in France where he worked at Michelin’s global R&D center.

Dave earned a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Materials Engineering from Virginia Tech. ave is passionate about education and helping those with behavioral health challenges and their families.  He serves on the Area Commission for Greenville Technical College and is a former member of the Advisory Board for School of Engineering at Clemson University. 

He is a former member of the national board for the National Alliance on Mental Illness (NAMI) and is a board member of NAMI Greenville.  He also serves as the Chair of the Greenville Well Being Partnership.
