David Thomas, MPH, is a tenured public health professional on Amazon’s Global Behavioral Health Team. He oversees the strategy, design and implementation of substance use related programs for Amazonians across the globe. In prior roles, he launched Amazon’s Neighborhood Health Centers and owned the Healthcare Security Operations strategy for One Medical.

From an early age, David identified his personal mission: to provide resources and care that equips customers with the tools to be the healthiest version of themselves. In pursuit of this mission, David received a B.S. from the University of California, Los Angeles (UCLA) and later earned his Master of Public Health from the University of Washington. He believes that the best interventions are based on clinical rigor and individual/community empowerment.
