Dean Ramirez, Ed.D

Dr. Dean L. Ramirez is currently the Assistant Superintendent of Personnel & Pupil Services for the Orchard Park Central School District, which is located in the suburbs of Buffalo, New York. Prior to this position, he has held positions as a high school principal, a middle school principal, a high school assistant principal, and as a middle school social studies teacher. In 2015, Dr. Ramirez completed his doctoral studies from the University at Buffalo. His current research interests focus on school culture and climate and how strong school/district leadership contributes to increased teacher and student performance. He has presented at multiple national and state conferences. In addition, he provides consulting services to schools and school districts to analyze the historical culture of an institution and review current climate levels – leading to strategic action planning.
