Derek Butts is an experienced human capital consultant with over 15 years of experience. Derek graduated and earned a B.B.A. with a concentration in insurance/actuarial science from Howard University. Derek held actuarial analyst, consultant, and director positions with Aon and Willis Towers Watson prior to joining Phillips 66 as the Manager of Health & Welfare in 2019. He currently runs Benefits globally for Phillips 66. In this position, Derek oversees vendors, programs, and employment policies designed to attract, retain, and engage the high-performing workforce that fuels Phillips 66’s performance.
