Djenaba Parker currently serves as goop’s General Counsel and Chief People Officer. In her role as General Counsel, Djenaba is responsible for all legal, risk management and corporate governance matters and best practices implementation across goop’s businesses. As Chief People Officer, she oversees the development of human resources strategies in support of goop’s strategic direction, including in the areas of talent acquisition, employee relations, performance, culture and engagement, policy development, compliance, and total rewards. Prior to joining goop, Djenaba spent almost 9 years at Red Bull, where she held several roles — including, most recently, SVP and General Counsel for Red Bull North America, and, prior to that, General Counsel & Chief Talent Officer for the New York Red Bulls of Major League Soccer. Prior to joining Red Bull, Djenaba practiced as an attorney in the Banking and Institutional Finance department at two international law firms. She began her career as an assurance and audit associate at PwC.

She holds her Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Georgetown University, and a J.D. from the University of Southern California. Outside of work, Djenaba currently sits on the National Women’s Soccer League / National Women’s Soccer League Players Association Joint Investigation Oversight Committee and has been a guest lecturer in the Columbia University and ISDE companion Masters in Sports Management and Masters in Global Sports Law Programs.
