Edith Cecchini

Edith Cecchini joined Ocean Conservancy in December 2019 as Project Director, Corporate Strategy & Policy. She leads Ocean Conservancy’s Trash Free Seas Alliance, a multi-stakeholder forum that includes companies, conservation organizations and academia.

Edith also manages Ocean Conservancy’s engagement in a number of private-sector initiatives, including Closed Loop Partner’s Beyond the Bag Initiative, the Recycling Leadership Council and the U.S. Plastics Pact. Edith serves pro bono as a Commissioner on the Environmental Policy Commission for the City of Alexandria, Virginia, and also as a Board Member for a non-profit providing training in agro-ecology.
