Effie Gikas

Effie Gikas serves as the Senior Director of Enterprise Talent Enablement at Cigna. In this role, Effie leads the Talent Acquisition Management Office, Contingent Labor, Recruitment Marketing, and Talent Acquisition Operations teams.

During her 16 years with Cigna, Effie also held various roles within Recruiting, HR Operations, and Supplier Management, and is a fierce proponent of internal mobility.

Prior to joining Cigna, Effie held positions in the pharmaceutical, consumer goods, and hospitality industries.

Effie received her MBA with a concentration in marketing from Drexel University. She completed her undergraduate studies at the State University of New York (SUNY) Buffalo, where she received a B.S. in biotechnology, a B.A. in chemistry, and a minor in biochemical pharmacology.

Effie lives in the Philadelphia area with her two sons, Alexander and Sotirios, and is frequently visited by her family that still live in her hometown of Buffalo, NY. In her free time, you'll probably find Effie enjoying the outdoors, cooking, shopping, or participating in a community event.
