Enrique Zamarbide is co-Director for the Global Reward Council II and Council Director for the Regional Reward Council at The Conference Board. Enrique Zamarbide also works as an independent business consultant and coach helping companies on their Compensation and Benefits transformations. He also partners with Consulting firms supporting their rewards expertise, has participated to the development of a few digital Rewards solutions, Acts as a Rewards teacher in several Universities and is often invited to give lectures on Compensation and Benefits matters.

Prior to forming his own consultancy, Enrique spent  25 years assuming several Roles in Compensation and Benefits. He was: Compensation director for EMEA at HP, Compensation and Benefits Sr. Director for International region at Medtronic, Vice President Compensation and Benefits For Alstom Power and Senior Vice President Compensation and Benefits for DP-DHL. His experiences have allowed him to implement Rewards programs in several industries: IT, Medical, Pharma, Energy and Logistics, but also exposed him to the transformations of the Rewards, HR and the business itself. His experience as a leader in HR has also brought him to lead other HR functions and HR transformation projects to implement new organisations, new processes and/or new systems and tools.

Known as a change agent and inspiring leader, he looks at the Rewards function on a very critical way and likes to bring the Rewards experts into a more strategic view of their role and their impact in the organization.

Enrique is a passionate mountaineer and adventurer with several personal accomplishments on Mountain skiing, tracking and heliskiing; and a well known artist where his paintings are often exhibited and sold across the world.
