Francine Chew is Vice President, People Development Capabilities at Prudential. She is pioneering this firmwide role that encompasses all People Development innovative solutions for leaders across the enterprise. Francine joined Prudential in 2014, and previously worked within Inclusive Solutions to stand up various new roles. First, as a Relationship Manager who built initiatives between Corporate Social Responsibility and Prudential’s businesses to create innovative solutions to challenging problems. Then, as Head of Investment Policy & Content in Impact & Responsible Investing. Prior to joining Prudential, Francine was the founding Program Officer of the 10,000 Small Businesses at Goldman Sachs, and co-led a charter school as it moved from its incubation location into a NYC school building shared by two other Principals. When she worked in finance, she was an Associate in the Equity Capital Markets group at Merrill Lynch, and was an Analyst in the Investment Banking Division at Morgan Stanley. Francine holds a BA in Economics from Yale College, where she was a 4-year varsity rower. She also has an MBA from Harvard Business School and was a Fulbright Scholar to Ecuador. Francine lives in Brooklyn with her twin eight-year old sons, and is on the board of Row New York, a sports-based youth development program dedicated to diversifying the sport of rowing.
