Francois has 10 years of marketing and innovation experience in FMCG, followed by 12 years of sustainability leadership in global agriculture-centric companies. He joined Unilever in 2021 as global business operations director of climate, heading the delivery of the Net Zero agenda.

Prior to joining Unilever, Francois was leading the global corporate sustainability department at McCain Foods. He comes with a passion for co-creating strategic partnerships to leverage sustainability as a driver of innovation, differentiation, and collective impact.

Francois is a Belgian citizen, and has a degree in economics followed by an MBA in marketing management and an executive master's in sustainability.
