Dr. Orstad is a Clinical Consultant with Marsh McLennan since 2018 and has served as a leader in population health and product design with HealthPartners and Optum. Dr. Orstad earned her DNP in Health Innovation and Leadership and holds a Certificate in Healthcare Design. As such, she incorporates Design Thinking into her strategic work with employer clients and emphasizes the value of Whole Person Health and the impact of social determinants of health on employer populations. Dr. Orstad also serves as the President of Minnesota's American Nurses Association and chairs the American Nurses Association Innovation Collaborative on Policy and Determinants of Health. Heidi also speaks nationally and regionally on topics related to population health, mental health and employee wellbeing.
