Hilary S. Ayala serves as the Executive Director of the Con Edison Foundation and the Director of Strategic Partnerships Programs at Con Edison, reporting to the Senior Vice President of Corporate Affairs. In this dual leadership role, Ms. Ayala oversees the company’s strategic philanthropic grants in clean energy and affordability and employee engagement contributions and initiatives, including volunteer corps, board placement program, and community-focused employee engagement efforts.

With a career rooted in public service and corporate responsibility, Ms. Ayala joined Con Edison in 2001 and previously served as the company’s principal federal lobbyist in Washington, D.C. Her passion for building meaningful connections between corporate values and community impact has shaped her strategic approach to philanthropy—turning vision into action by fostering collaboration among nonprofits, employees, and community stakeholders.

Before joining Con Edison, Ms. Ayala worked in the United States Senate and on the development team at Manhattanville College. She holds a bachelor’s degree in International Studies from Manhattanville and has served on the boards of the Westchester Children’s Museum and the Vineyard Theatre.

An outdoor enthusiast, she can often be found exploring the trails and slopes of Vermont.
