Holly Welch Stubbing brings over 25 years of experience in managing service organizations in philanthropy, endowment investing and global disaster relief to her role as President and CEO of E4E Relief. E4E Relief is a social enterprise that provides grants to individuals in crisis through stakeholder relief programs. E4E Relief was recently awarded a Halo Award for its flagship $65M Brave of Heart Fund that awarded grants to families of healthcare workers who passed away in service of COVID 19. The organization is a tech-enabled service that provides employee relief programs to 135 companies including 45 Fortune 500 companies and serves over 5.5 million employees globally. Prior to her current role, Holly worked for our parent organization, Foundation for The Carolinas. Holly led advancement and legal affairs and oversight of the investment portfolio and, together with the team, grew the organization from $180 million to nearly $4 billion in assets.

 

A nationally recognized leader in charitable tax matters, she has served on trade association boards and key public policy committees representing nonprofits and philanthropy on Capitol Hill and across the state of North Carolina. She is a frequent speaker on disaster relief, employee well-being, and ESG strategy. Holly serves or has served on the Merrill Lynch Bledsoe/Cathcart Group Advisory Council and the Seymour Legacy Trust Board of Trustees, as well as nonprofit boards for Wake Forest University Charlotte, Trinity Episcopal School, Charlotte Mecklenburg Public Schools Foundation and the Charlotte-Mecklenburg Public Library Foundation. She is also the Co-Chair of the Library’s $140M Common Spark Campaign to build a new main library in downtown Charlotte.

 

Holly holds a Global Executive MBA from Georgetown University’s McDonough School of Business, a J.D. from the University of Dayton School of Law and a B.A. in speech communications and international studies from Wake Forest University.
