Martin Pergler is a senior expert in McKinsey’s risk practice and a leader of the firm’s corporate risk initiative. Since joining the firm’s Chicago office in 2000, Pergler has worked for clients in over 20 countries. He is currently based in the Montréal office and is transferring to the Singapore office in August 2010. Pergler has worked for clients in multiple sectors, including
energy, industrials, metals and basic materials, utilities, consumer and packaged goods, institutional investing, and telecom. Prior to joining McKinsey, he completed a Ph.D. in mathematics at the University of Chicago, where he was also a lecturer for several years and received a university-wide teaching award. He holds an S.M. from the University of Chicago, and a B.Sc. from Carleton University in Canada, where he graduated with
the Governor-General’s Medal.
