A recognized thought leader by organizations nationwide, including the Human Capital Institute and the National Association of Women Business Owners, Kim is a regular speaker at national events on the topics of building virtual companies, the importance of cultural glue, and attracting ‘A’ players.

As the CEO of Decision Toolbox, Kim took the company virtual in 2002 with more than 100 team embers working across the United States and three countries. This unique business model played a key role in the company being awarded the Alfred P. Sloan Award for Business Excellence in Workplace Flexibility three times. Decision Toolbox was also a three-time winner of Inc. 500/5000 Fastest Growing Private Companies, two-time winner of OCBJ Fastest Growing Private Companies and eight-time recipient of the HRO Baker’s Dozen Award for Customer Satisfaction.

Kim was named the National Association of Women Business Owners ‘Innovator of the Year’ and was the recipient of the WomenSage Family Matters Award. She currently serves on the board of Habitat for Humanity – Orange County, serves as a Senior Fellow of The Conference Board, and has served on the boards of Girls Inc. and Working Wardrobes.

Prior to beginning her career in business, Kim was a national television correspondent for 10 years with ESPN, NBC Sports and several syndication TV magazine productions.

Kim has authored or co-authored three books:  “The Bite Me School of Management: Taking a Bite Out of Conventional Thinking,” “Get Scrappy: Business Insights to Make Your Company More Agile,” co-authored with Dave Berkus, and “Remote Work: Redesign Processes, Practices and Strategies to Engage a Remote Workforce” co-authored with Chris Dyer.
