Charles Peck is the Principal Researcher and Program Manager on Compensation for The Conference Board.

Peck has written numerous studies on compensation and related subjects. His current research emphasis is on executive and director compensation. He has also contributed articles and reviews to Across the Board, The Bankers Magazine, Compensation and Benefits Review, The Corporate Board and Monthly Digest of Tax Articles.

Peck is widely quoted in the press, including The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, U.S. News & World Report, USA Today, The Washington Post, Time, Money Magazine, Working Woman, Fortune, The Los Angeles Times, The Chicago Tribune, and Newsweek. He has given interviews and commentaries on The Lehrer News Hour, Fox Television News, CNN, Wall Street Journal Radio, Standard News Radio, CBS Radio,the BBC and Money Radio.

Before joining The Conference Board, Peck held various positions as a researcher, consultant and company compensation practitioner. He is a member of World at Work (formerly The American Compensation Association).
