Christine Petrovits is an assistant professor of accountancy at The George Washington University School of Business. Previously, she was an assistant professor of accounting and Paduano Faculty Fellow in Business Ethics at the NYU Stern School of Business. Her research focuses on corporate social responsibility and financial reporting in both corporate and not-for-profit organizations and has been published in top academic journals, such as the Journal of Accounting and Economics, Strategic Management Journal, and The Accounting Review. Professor Petrovits earned her PhD from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
