Salvatore Falletta is a Distinguished Principal Research Fellow at the Conference Board, where he engages in collaborative research in the areas of HR strategy, ethical HR/people analytics, evidence-based HR, talent management, employee engagement, workforce surveys, and the future of work. Additionally, he is a professor of human resource leadership and organizational science at Drexel University, where he serves as the director of the human resource development, organization and talent development, and organizational leadership and learning related programs.

Prior to pursuing his academic career, Sal was the founder and president of HR Intelligence, an educational advisory and consulting group. Preceding this role, he served as the Chief HR Officer for a Fortune 1000 firm based in Silicon Valley, California, where he led a global HR organization comprising over 80 HR professionals across 14 distinct countries. Sal has also held leadership positions in human resources at Nortel Networks, Alltel, Intel, SAP, and Sun Microsystems. During his tenure at Intel, he was the head of global HR research and analytics. Relevant to his professional experience and research, he is the author of Creepy Analytics: How to Avoid Crossing the Line and Establish Ethical HR Analytics for Smarter Workforce Decisions (McGraw-Hill).

Sal holds an EdD in human resource development from North Carolina State University, an MPA in HR and organization development from Indiana State University, and a BA in psychology from Eastern Washington University. He also has completed people analytics courses at the University of Pennsylvania’s Wharton School and the University of Cambridge’s Judge Business School.
