Udai Upendra

Udai Upendra is a Senior Fellow, Human Capital at The Conference Board. In this role, Udai supports the Human Capital Practice which includes The Conference Board Human Capital Exchange™, research, conferences, webcasts and programs in a broad spectrum of human capital areas.

In addition to serving as a Senior Fellow, Udai is a Post Graduate in Management from a premier business school in India and has also qualified a one-year Business Leaders Program (on Strategy and Leadership) with Indian Institute of Management, Kolkata. He has been associated through academic and learning exposures with Ashridge University, IMD, Center for Creative Leadership, Indian School of Business (Hyderabad), and Stanford Business School.

Over 30 years of experience with well known global organizations and working across several geographies internationally, he has gained extensive experience in the area of strategy, coaching, people processes, leadership and organizational development.

He has held senior positions with Hindustan Unilever, India (Corporate Human Resource Development Manager - Lipton), Colgate Palmolive, India – Vice President – Human Resources and Ranbaxy Laboratories (President – Global Human Resources) besides being a member of apex management committees.

Udai has been a visiting faculty with leading management and technology institutes and professional forums in India. He is also associated with The Conference Board initiatives for the last few years. Currently he pursues his consulting and advisory practice in Human Resources and General Management with – The HR Company as Founder & CEO.
