Cori Cunningham is the founder of C. Cunningham Advising and an accomplished consultant and solutions-oriented leader with more than a decade of experience advising corporations and social sector organizations on strategies designed to drive positive change. She specializes in uniting teams and stakeholders around common missions, and is a highly skilled strategic planner, analyst and facilitator. Cori works with clients to align community engagement strategies with business goals in the corporate sector, and create thorough and thoughtful plans for identifying and securing corporate relationships in the social sector.

Previously, Cori was Senior Managing Director at Changing Our World, where she built and led the consulting firm’s Corporate Social Engagement practice. During her tenure she guided Fortune 500 companies seeking to enhance social impact, reputation, and stakeholder loyalty through more strategic philanthropic efforts. She created plans that merged core business assets and interests with societal needs in an authentic way, and outlined clear and actionable steps to achieve those visions. Past clients include FedEx, Hess Corporation, Harry Winston, Inc., MasterCard Worldwide, The McGraw-Hill Companies, PVH, and BNY Mellon, among others. A respected manager, under her leadership she quadrupled the revenue of the corporate practice through her strong management of all sales, marketing, staffing, and operations efforts.

Her earlier career was grounded in business consulting and values-driven work. At LinkShare Corporation, Cori advised content and marketing websites how to best grow their business through e-commerce relationships, and prior to that she held programmatic roles in the social sector, focusing primarily on educational initiatives and youth serving organizations.

Cori has presented on corporate citizenship trends and best practices, leading and facilitating workshops for national and regional associations such as Council on Foundations, Philanthropy New York, Corporate Volunteers of New York and Volunteer Match.  She received her Bachelor of Science Degree from Cornell University and her Master’s Degree in Corporate Social Responsibility from University of Barcelona.
