Martina Fazio is research assistant at The Conference Board Europe. She focuses on the macroeconomic outlook for Europe and contributes to the preparation of the monthly Economics Watch European View webcasts and to the writing of the European Economic Highlights of the Week. In addition, she works on different projects focused on international labor markets, including NEUJOBS, a European Commission FP7 project.

Fazio holds a Master’s degree in financial economics at LUISS Guido Carli University in Rome, with a thesis focusing on a general equilibrium model for jobless recoveries. She interned at The Conference Board Europe from July to September 2012, working on a project focusing on the estimation of NAIRUs for various countries through a Kalman Filter technique.
