Idalene F. Kesner is dean of the Kelley School of Business, where she also received her PhD. She also holds the position of Frank P. Popoff Chair of Strategic Management. She teaches in the area of strategic management, change management, and crisis management. Her consulting work and research is primarily in the areas of corporate governance/boards of directors and executive succession. She has published numerous articles in various journals including Academy of Management Journal, Journal of Management, Strategic Management Journal, and Harvard Business Review. She serves a director on several corporate boards in both manufacturing and service industries.
