Meredith Armstrong Whiting joined The Conference Board as Senior Research Fellow in 1989, and became affiliated with the Center for Corporate Citizenship & Sustainability in March of 2007. She has authored or co-authored numerous publications on a wide variety of issues, ranging from environmental affairs and sustainability to energy, carbon management, and health and safety to public policy topics, such as public/private partnerships, disabled-worker practices, and land conservation.

Her previous experience includes service as public and congressional affairs aide in the office of Vice President George H.W. Bush, director of public liaison at the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the founding and operation of her Washington-based issues management firm.
