Laurie Zelnio

Laurie Zelnio is a Program Director at The Conference Board. She has over 25 years of experience working for John Deere, and spent the last 14 years of her career as the Director, Safety, Environment, Standards and Product Sustainability. Her specialties include strategic planning; defining processes & leading and outcome metrics; facilitating groups to solve problems & produce results; team building; Six Sigma; environmental sustainability, EHS mangement; operations management; materials engineering & science.

Laurie was a member of the Chief EH&S Officers Council for many years and helped start the Sustainability Councils at The Conference Board. She received a BA in Biochemistry at the University of Iowa and a Masters in Business Administration at St. Ambrose University.
