Jake Henry is a Senior Partner at McKinsey & Company and leads our M&A Practice in North American and co-leads globally. Prior to this role he led McKinsey Life Sciences Practice in North America and co-led globally. For more than 15 years, he has guided pharmaceutical and medical-products company executives on matters of corporate strategy, growth strategy, and operational excellence.

Jake is also one of our longest-standing advisors to the medical-products industry and has helped many of the world’s leading providers of medical devices navigate the rapidly changing value chain. Drawing on a technical background, he appreciates the potential for each new wave of technical advance to have a profound impact on patient care. He also advises private-equity companies seeking healthcare-related mergers and acquisitions.

An expert on changes in US healthcare, Jake speaks frequently at conferences and on professional panels across North America.

Jake serves on the Board of Visitors of the Pratt School of Engineering at Duke University.  He also serves on the Board of Boys and Girls Club of Chicago.
