James Gaumer has been in this role for more than 5 years and is responsible for overseeing financial and reporting aspects of the Trust with the objective of identifying and providing needed solutions that may drive cost savings, increase benefit value or administrative efficiencies as examples. James also manages client/vendor/carrier relationships, while having oversight of and acts as a core collaborative coordinator internally and externally across many functions such as sales and renewal activities, business development, marketing/communications, operational processes and client administration/services.
Prior to joining VEBA, James held the positions of Director of Sales & Account Management for 5 years and Director of Underwriting for 10 years with UnitedHealthcare. While in these roles, James personally managed the CS VEBA account.
