Jamie Mageau is the director of research products for U.S. Travel Association, where she develops research products to communicate the importance and impact of the travel industry. She also provides tools and research to assist state and destination tourism organizations in their marketing efforts and communicate the value of the travel industry to travel and policy maker stakeholders. 

Prior to joining U.S. Travel in April 2012, Mageau was a program analyst at the U.S. Census Bureau, where she developed an outreach campaign targeting five million U.S. businesses to increase awareness and communicate the importance of the Economic Census.

Mageau also has experience as an account manager and analyst for private sector market research firms, where she developed customer satisfaction and loyalty research for Fortune 500 clients. She is also a member of the Travel and Tourism Research Association board.

Mageau received her undergraduate degree from Wake Forest University, and an MBA from George Washington University in marketing and tourism. As a native of Philadelphia, the Phillies, cheesesteaks and water ice are near and dear to her heart.
