Jana Brown currently serves as the Senior Vice President and Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO) at eHealth, the largest private health insurance marketplace in the US. In this capacity, Jana leads the development and implementation of eHealth's human capital strategy and oversees the company's culture transformation initiatives. Her responsibilities encompass talent acquisition, leadership development, diversity, equity, and inclusion efforts, learning and development programs, workforce planning and analytics, as well as total rewards management.

Since joining eHealth in October 2022, Jana has brought to bear her extensive professional background. Prior to her tenure at eHealth, she held executive positions such as EVP and Chief Human Resource Officer at Centurion Health, Senior Vice President and HR Chief Operating Officer at TIAA, and Head of Talent and Total Rewards at CareSource, among others. Jana's career journey also includes notable roles in sales and sales enablement at The Hartford and The Travelers.

Jana's educational background is complements her professional experience and reflects her commitment to continuous learning. She earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Stephen F. Austin State University and a Master’s degree in Human Resources Education from Boston University. Most recently, in August 2024, Jana achieved a Doctor of Education degree from Baylor University, specializing in Learning and Organizational Change. Her dissertation focused on the role of HR executives in preparing organizations for digital transformation resulting from Industry 4.0 and Society 5.0.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Jana finds fulfillment in her family life. She is married to Barry Brown, and together they have one daughter, Sydney, who is pursuing her graduate studies at the University of Miami. Jana's dedication to her career and family emphasizes her multifaceted approach to life and leadership.
