Jane Schindewolf

Jane Schindewolf is a transformational sustainability executive with proven success in defining and implementing sustainability strategies that create and deliver value globally to key stakeholders. In her Vista Sustainability Advisors, LLC consulting practice, Jane is committed to enhancing Senior Leadership and Board fluency and governance on key sustainability and ESG topics.

As DuPont’s VP of Sustainability, Jane developed and championed ambitious 2030 sustainability goals enabling pathways for global businesses, functions, and regions to deliver and report annual progress on goal commitments. During her four years in the role, Jane advanced Board governance on a wide range of relevant sustainability and ESG risks and opportunities. She partnered with senior executives in deploying sustainability strategies across business operations, R&D, communications, government affairs, finance, and supply chain. Jane also oversaw the alignment of company giving and employee engagement strategies across businesses and regions increasing outcomes and impact in local communities.

Prior to this role, Jane built a high impact global Product Stewardship and Regulatory risk management function at DuPont and served as a business platform Ethics & Compliance Officer lowering business risk and improving company ERM governance. She also delivered profitable growth in DuPont customer-facing, strategic marketing, and business P&L leadership roles in several businesses and industries.

Jane currently serves on the advisory board of The Resolution Project that funds, mentors, and supports young people around the world who have innovative ideas to improve their home communities.  She also serves on the advisory council and is a past board member of Friendship House, a nonprofit serving the needs of the homeless in Delaware. Jane also served as DuPont’s liaison delegate to the World Business Council for Sustainable Development (WBCSD) and served on the advisory board of World Resource Institute’s (WRI) Corporate Consultative Group.

Jane holds an MBA from the University of Michigan and a BS in Mechanical Engineering from Lafayette College.
