Jason Tzau currently leads US health plan strategy, design, and program management for Amazon, a company that employs over 1.4 million employees across the globe, and whose mission is to be Earth’s most customer-centric company, Earth’s best employer, and Earth’s safest place to work. Specifically, he is accountable for the operational, clinical, and financial performance of Amazon’s medical, pharmacy, dental and vision plans. Prior to that, he served in other leadership roles at Amazon including health benefits analytics and global pharmacy benefits. Before joining Amazon, he held various roles in care delivery as a pharmacist, population health management, and health benefits consulting. In his current role, he leverages various data sources and methods to uncover impactable areas of opportunity to improve health, ensure a financially sustainable health benefit, promote seamless and frustration free healthcare experiences, and reduce barriers to achieving health, health equity, and access to high quality care. Jason is a based out of Seattle, WA and is a graduate of the University of British Columbia (B.S. Pharm), and the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences (Doctorate in Pharmacy).
