Jennifer Aspen Mason is the CSO and EVP Safety & Sustainability for J.M. Huber, a family owned portfolio of businesses which include food ingredients, building materials, forestry management and engineered materials.  She joined Huber in 2018 as Senior Vice-President of Global Innovation for the specialty chemicals and food ingredients company CP Kelco.   Previously, she spent six years with Mars, Inc in several roles including Technology and Science Strategy Officer, and Vice-President of Research and Development for the Mars Petcare business.  Prior to her time at Mars, Jennifer held leadership positions in a number of Unilever’s food businesses at the global, regional and local level. 

Jennifer serves on the Advisory Board for Batory Foods, the National Board of the Commanderie de Bordeaux, and the President’s Advisory Council for her Alma Mater, Lawrence University.

She graduated from Lawrence in 1990 with a B.A. in Psychology/Neuroscience.  She also has a Ph.D. in Behavioral Pharmacology from The University of Chicago, and has completed business courses at Henley Management College in the UK and Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Business.   She holds the BCSP’s Certified Safety Professional accreditation.

Jennifer currently resides in Atlanta, GA. She is an avid runner and cyclist, and enjoys learning about wine (and drinking it) in her spare time.
