A human resource professional with over 25 years of experience and currently employed with The Texas A&M University System. Responsible for the management and day-to-day operations of the A&M System's employee insurance programs, student/graduate student health insurance program, as well as numerous partner programs such as the employee assistance program, in addition to managing the A&M System Employee Wellness Grant Program.

Past HR experience includes recruiting, onboarding, time & absence, FMLA, ADA, employee relations, performance management, employee training, employee benefits and retirement programs, as well as employee wellness at the System member level.

Holds dual HR certifications - Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).  Graduate of Texas A&M International University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Texas A&M University with a Master of Science in Human Resource Management.  Member of the Texas Higher Education Human Resources Association (THEHRA) and the College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR).  Previously served on the board of the Society for Human Resource Management Texas State Council, and past president of the Laredo Association for Human Resource Management.
