A human resources professional with over 25 years of experience and currently employed with The Texas A&M University System. Currently responsible for the management and day-to-day operations of the A&M System's employee insurance programs, student health insurance program, as well as numerous partner programs such as the employee assistance program, in addition to managing the A&M System Employee Wellness Grant Program.

Past HR experience includes recruiting, onboarding, time & absence, FMLA, ADA, employee relations, performance management, employee training, employee benefits and retirement programs, as well as employee wellness.

Holds dual HR certifications - Certified Professional in Human Resources (PHR) and Society for Human Resource Management – Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Graduate of Texas A&M International University with a Bachelor of Business Administration in Management and Texas A&M University with a Masters in Human Resource Management.

Member of the Texas Higher Education Human Resources Association (THEHRA), College and University Professional Association for Human Resources (CUPA-HR) and State and Local Government Benefit Administrators (SALGBA). Previously served on the board of the Society for Human Resource Management Texas State Council, and past president of the Laredo Association for Human Resource Management.
