Jessica Thurston

Jessica Thurston (she/her) leads Paramount Global’s environmental, social, and governance (ESG), aka sustainability, strategy. She oversees the development and implementation of key ESG programs across the global company, including ESG reporting and engagement with rankers, raters, and investors. In addition to her work at Paramount, Jessica is a part-time faculty member at Columbia University, where she teaches sustainability reporting and strategy. Prior to joining Paramount in 2019 to stand up the company’s ESG program and strategy, Jessica consulted for companies working to develop their own ESG strategies and communications, and began her career in sustainable procurement policy for the U.S. federal government. Jessica has a Masters in sustainability management from Columbia University and a Bachelors in urban design from Carnegie Mellon University.
