Jim Fitzhenry

As an International Chief Executive, C-suite coach and Vistage Chair, James (Jim) is actively mentoring over 30 CEOs and C-suite members towards double digit growth and profitability. Jim’s ambitious program blends winning leadership principles, collaborative executive team design, and strategic reasoning into an impactful formula for profits, growth, social and environmental impact. Jim is currently a Senior Fellow at The Conference Board – a New York City based Think Tank - helping Fortune 500 leaders and their colleagues navigate businesses’ most complex issues. Additionally, Jim mentors CEO members of Endeavor – the leading Global Community for High Impact Entrepreneurs.

Prior to his service of CEOs, Jim held numerous C-suite roles at Buckman, a privately held company that provides the highest quality process aids, the latest smart technology, and data analysis to deliver customer solutions. In his time at Buckman Jim developed and led numerous strategic initiatives including the digital transformation initiative, biotechnology imperative, delivered multi-million dollar global innovations to the marketplace, secured strategic advantage through the global supply chain and risk management, and created and sustained a global ecosystem of pivotal partnerships. Over his 13 years in the C-suite, Jim delivered hundreds of millions of dollars in innovation revenue and profit, the multi-million dollar commercialization of the first Digital Offering for the organization in its 78 year history, over $50M in savings in product line, right sizing initiatives and record growth and profit to the business.

Jim is a two-time recipient of the prestigious Presidential Green Chemistry award.

Jim’s strategic leadership has seen him engage with the most senior leaders of industry, academia, and government domestically and internationally. This skill, coupled with a record of delivering complex international projects in high profile, competitive, multi-cultural environments combine to enable him to make bold strategic visions a reality for any organization.

Jim holds degrees in Chemistry, Biology and Business and is a graduate of the Harvard Business School Advanced Management Program. He has held a number of Board positions with a variety of NFP organizations.
