The following is a biography of former employee/consultant

Jing Sima-Friedman is a former senior economist at The Conference Board. She led macroeconomic research projects on emerging markets, with a focus on structural changes, monetary policy, capital and financial market developments, and trade flows. She also produced and regularly appears on The Conference Board Economics Watch® Emerging Markets View, which focuses on the economic growth outlook of that region and helps business leaders understand risks and identify opportunities.

In addition, she also led research analysis and production of The Conference Board Leading Economic Index® (LEI) for major emerging economies including China, Brazil, India, and Mexico. Sima received her MBA in finance and investment from Baruch College, CUNY, and her BA in economics from the Capital University of Economics and Business in Beijing.
