Jodie Clarke is the Vice President, Procurement & Corporate Security at Altria Client Services LLC (ALCS). ALCS is a service organization that is a part of Altria Group, Inc. (Altria). Affiliated operating companies include Philip Morris USA, US Smokeless Tobacco Company, John Middleton, and Helix. Jodie leads the organization that provides responsible sourcing expertise and strategies that responsibly optimize the value and security of our goods, and services through a diverse supplier network at Altria.. Value includes agility, cost management, regulatory compliance, quality, reliability, supply security and sustainability. The functions within the Jodie’s organization are Corporate Security, Leaf, Procurement Strategy & Enablement, Innovative Product & Smokeless Procurement, Marketing & Digital Fulfilment Procurement., and Core Operations Procurement. Jodie has a diverse background in Procurement. After joining Altria in 2002, she spent eleven years in various roles in Leaf Procurement, the function that purchases the tobacco used in Philip Morris USA, US Smokeless Tobacco Company and John Middleton products. Leaf is one of Altria’s largest annual purchases. After Leaf Procurement, Jodie served as the Director, Procurement Information & Analysis, which included responsibilities for Procurement Budgeting, Forecasting & Analysis, Procurement Systems, Supply Chain Research and Altria’s Tobacco Seed Companies (ProfiGen, LLC & FW Rickard Seeds, Inc). In addition, she served as the Sr. Director, Direct Materials & New Technologies, which included responsibilities for optimizing cost, quality and supply security while ensuring regulatory compliance for direct materials and new technologies supply chains as well as managing Altria. Compounds LLC. Jodie attended Virginia Tech where she received her undergraduate degree in Crop & Soil Environmental Sciences, with a minor in Agribusiness in 1999. She received her master of science in Crop & Soil Environmental Sciences from Virginia Tech in 2001. Jodie resides in Brunswick County, VA with her husband Taylor Clarke. They have a working farm that produces beef cattle, hay and soybeans. She also enjoys riding horses, spending time at Lake Gaston, VA/NC and visiting her family that farms in NC.
