John Beadle

John Beadle is Global Head of Performance and Reward at ABB, located in Zurich. ABB is a Swedish-Swiss multinational corporation, and a technology leader in electrification and automation, enabling a more sustainable and resource-efficient future.

John’s portfolio includes board and executive reward, employee reward (e.g., grading, variable pay, share incentive planning), benefits, international mobility, and HR M&A.

He has over twenty years' experience in reward and human resource management in the financial, consumer goods, information technology, and pharmaceutical industries, having previously worked in a wide variety of international HR roles for GSK, HSBC, IBM, Reckitt Benckiser, Rio Tinto, and Standard Chartered Bank.

John is on the Board of PRHA, Council Director at the Conference Board and on an advisory board for the London School of Economics (LSE).  He is a Freeman of the Guild of HR professionals, serving as a mentor under their National HR Leadership Programme, a Companion and former Vice President for the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development (CIPD), and a Fellow of the Bridewell Royal Hospital.

He is currently a visiting lecturer at the LSE, Warwick Business School, the Lucerne University of Applied Sciences and Arts, and the University of Applied Sciences and Arts Northwestern Switzerland.
