John Dorey is the Manager of Benefits at Ropes & Gray, LLP, where he spearheads innovative employee benefits initiatives. His achievements include implementing health and welfare vendors, developing a recognition program, and leading HR employee surveys on various topics. John started with Ropes at the beginning of 2022, and has over 14 years of experience administering employee benefits with a focus on employee experience, in addition to building competitive programs that attract and retain top talent in the legal industry and beyond.

John is a certified Group Benefits Associate and holds an MBA, along with master’s degrees in Accounting and Finance from UMass Boston. He also earned a Bachelor of Science in Social Psychology from Park University.
